The Great American Road Trip 2014 Tour
The Zac Brown Band first hinted at a tour in the beginning of the year with the tour being finalized in April. The tour will feature a new member of the band and started on May 24th in Nebraska. The tour is scheduled to visit Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on August 23rd.
Zac Brown Band has three studio albums to their name and is working on a new one for 2015. Starting in 2002, the band did not start to see success until 2009 when “Chicken Fried” propelled them to the top of the charts. The same year, the band won Top New Group and Breakthrough Video of the Year. Since then, they have been in the spotlight with songs, including “Toes,” “Colder Weather,” and “As She’s Walking Away.”
Clay Cook is an opening act that will be seen on most tour dates and will sing a range of songs, including “No Such Thing” and “Neon.” Clay has 7 albums to his name and was featured on Zac Brown Band’s You Get What You Give album.
Clay brings a lot of energy to the opening act and will hit the stage when Zac Brown Band plays a few of their songs. Clay seems like a natural opening act for the band and has been touted as being a great performer that brings a lot of energy to the stage and can truly belt it out.
Zac Brown Band has been nothing short of amazing thus far with fans raving how great the show has been. Some of the songs that are seen on the set list include “Natural Disaster,” “Chicken Fried” and “Toes.” If you are a fan of the legendary Metallica, Zac Brown Band has been known to cover their songs often during the tour and to mere perfection. The crowd will go wild during this show.
