The Native Summer Tour Featuring OneRepublic and The Script
May 28th was the start of the Native Summer Tour and kicked off the first leg of a multi-country tour and which hits Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in August. The first leg began in Morrison and will be staying within the United States and Canada. Fans have been touting this as one of the best tours they have ever seen, and the two acts are just getting started.
The Script is a band from Ireland that is going to wow the crowd from start to finish. The group is not just another no-named addition, but a band that has been nominated several times for awards in Britain and is hoping to break into the United States market. You have probably heard some of their songs before with their big hit “Hall of Fame.” The group will be with OneRepublic on both legs of their tour, and they will certainly be welcomed back into Ireland in October when they kick off the second leg in Dublin.
American Authors, while not named in the title of the tour, will be the opening act and will start with “Best Day of My Life.” The band will be playing until The Script enters the arena and really gets the party started. The Script is known for being very interactive with fans and is far friendlier than you would expect. The band often jumps into the crowd during their performance.
OneRepublic will come on stage next and finish up the night. The group is touring to promote their 2013 release album “Native” and will play a range of songs including “Love Runs Out” and “All the Right Moves.” An acoustic performance is given on most nights and the band often has The Script come on stage as they perform together.
The Native Summer Tour is the third tour that OneRepublic has been a part of and is nothing short of magical.
