Jason Aldean’s Burn it Down Tour is under way and will hit 50 cities over the summer before coming to a close in Dallas, Texas. Aldean and opening act Florida Georgia Line will hit amphitheaters and baseball parks all across the country including Darien Lake Performing Arts Center. Aldean is one of only a handful of country artists big enough to play stadiums.

If you’re expecting a bland country concert, Aldean and his tour mates are sure to surprise you. Aldean’s performance is more like a rock show than anything else complete with pyro, walls of lighting, smoke and video effects. His acoustic guitar makes a few appearances, but expect to hear electric guitar solos and loud, thundering drums. Throughout the evening, Aldean connects with the crowd and lights up the stage.

Aldean will kick off the night with “Hicktown” with his lengthy set list including hits like “My Kinda Party,” “1994,” “Johnny Cash,” “Night Train,” “Big Green Tractor,” “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Crazy Town.” His rendition of “Don’t You Wanna Stay” includes a holographic Kelly Clarkson who “joins” him on stage for the duet.

Florida Georgia Line will open the show with a rockin’ set list that includes: “Cruise,” “It’z Just What We Do,” “Party People,” “Round Here,” and “Get Your Shine On.”

Jason Aldean is a Macon, Georgia native who first rose to fame in 2005. Since his debut, Aldean has recorded 5 albums and released 16 singles. A whopping 11 of his hit singles have reached number one, including “Big Green Tractor,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” “The Only Way I Know,” and “Night Train.”

Florida Georgia Line is a country duo comprised of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. The two have opened for country greats like Dierks Bentley, Colt Ford, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen and Brantley Gilbert. The duo is best-known for their hits “Cruise” and “It’z Just What We Do.”
