The Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry With Opening Act the Plain White T’s

Three amazing bands come together for an unforgettable tour: The Goo Goo Dolls, Daughtry and the Plain White T’s. In March of 2014, The Goo Goo Dolls first broke the news of a summer tour with Daughtry that would span over 2 and a ½ months with over 40 shows in North America. The tour began June 12th and will come to a close on August 26th stopping at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center towards the end of the tour on August 22nd.

The Plain White T’s will start the night with 6 songs from their 7 albums. Many of the songs heard will be fan favorites, such as “Hey There, Delilah,” “Hate” and “Should’ve Gone to Bed.” The group is currently working on their newest album called American Nights and will have the crowd on their toes as Daughtry hits the stage.

Who would have thought that Daughtry would be an opening act with their current massive popularity? Led by Chris Daughtry, the group is known for their upbeat songs and intense vocals. The band has sold over 21 million albums worldwide and 50 million digital songs. Some of the songs heard will be “Home” and “Waiting for Superman.” The band will only play 6 – 10 songs before The Goo Goo Dolls take stage.

The Goo Goo Dolls will adhere to their 21 song set list and will come back out for an encore that seems to change from one night to the next. Oftentimes, the encore will be “Broadway.” All of the fan favorites will be heard including “Iris,” “Better Days,” Already There” and “Big Machine.” The first song on the set list is “Lazy Eye” and will get the crowd pumping for the rest of the night’s events. Songs heard will include songs from Magnetic all the way back to their 1987 self-titled album.

These three bands will have the house rocking for the entire night and are a trio that you definitely do want to miss this summer.
